2004 Annual Golf & Tennis Outing

Despite the weatherman's dismal forecast, Mother Nature provided a beautiful day for the Tea Association's Annual Golf Outing on Tuesday June 15th. While no one won the hole-in-one prize sponsored by Ahlstrom FiberComposites, there were plenty of other tournament and door prizes awarded and everyone had a fantastic time.

The Tea Association would like to thank the following companies for their generous prize donations:

Ahlstrom FiberComposites J.R. Crompton (USA) Ltd.
A. Holliday & Company, Inc. Kennedy & Haig PA
American Instants, Inc. Kentea Limited
APL, Ltd. Plantextrakt, Inc.
Finlay Tea Solutions US, Inc. R.C. Bigelow, Inc.
GlobeTrends, Inc. Schoeller & Hoesch N.A., Inc.
Grosvenor Marketing Ltd. Unilever Bestfoods N.A.
Henry P. Thomson, Inc.

We would also like to thank Adagio Teas and Itoen (North America), Inc. for donating ready-to-drink iced tea to keep our golfers hydrated throughout the tournament.

A special thanks goes to Ken Fischer for once again sponsoring the outing at the Essex Fells Country Club. Also, thank you to all of our members and their guests who attended the outing. Because of each of you, the event was an overwhelming success and one more tradition remains firmly intact. To the winners of the golf tournament, we offer our congratulations. To all those who were not able to attend this year, we urge you to support the event in 2005.

Events such as the Annual Outing provide an opportunity to network with other tea industry professionals and to reward your employees, suppliers, and customers. They are also a way to demonstrate support for the Tea Association and the efforts extended by the Association on behalf of its member organizations.

Sincerely,

Yseult Lorseille
