First Ever World Tea Forum: Highlights of a Landmark Event! An unparalleled business and networking event was held at the New York Palace Hotel on October 8 – 10, 2003. The 1st World Tea Forum was anything but a typical business conference. This one-of-a kind meeting offered the world’s top tea professionals a unique platform to address the industry’s burning issues. In an environment specifically designed to invite participation, leading-edge thinkers and visionary leaders in the tea industry unveiled fresh market research, and an innovative program of seminars, workshops and networking sessions provoked stimulating discussion. Close to 200 tea industry participants from across the globe attended, helping to shape strategy that will drive future growth. The Tea Association of the USA wishes to express heartfelt thanks to all those who attended the Forum. You helped create a truly innovative gathering. The Association wishes to express profound gratitude and thanks to our Convention Committee Chairman John Snell and Vice-Chairman Dominick Ciaccia, for their initiative, leadership and hard work. We wish to also thank all of our World Tea Forum Sponsors for their extraordinary support! Our deepest thanks go to the great companies and organizations who made this event possible.
