The Tea Association of the USA speaks as the official voice for its members who represent the majority of importer, wholesaler, domestic retail, food service and specialty tea companies.

All issues related to tea directly involve this group: legislative, regulatory, education, social welfare, sustainability, consumption and health. The Tea Association, with its expertise in all facets of tea in this country is the natural and most critical resource sought out for its expertise and participation. A staff of dedicated individuals works to achieve excellence in influencing industry direction and decisions. The Association:

• Promotes tea consumption by leveraging positive attributes of tea helping the annual dollar growth of tea sales.
• Has a vibrant, active and growing membership
• Is requested to participate in Domestic/International legislative/regulatory forums and assists in establishing Global Standards
1. Established/Monitors global guidelines for pesticides & foreign elements.
2. Serves as official agent for over 1000 companies in participation of the Bioterrorism Act.
3. Oversees Global Standards including but not limited to Organic, White, Decaffeinated teas and Tisanes
4. Established/Monitors GMP/HACCP standards for all tea manufacturing facilities
• Provides an international database for statistics on Production, Imports/Exports, Marketing and Consumption
• Participates in and provides input on any media related issues related to tea.
• Conducts accredited, comprehensive classes in tea education covering every aspect of the product from production to preparation.
