Marketing the Menu
|
Customers are eager to learn more about tea –
they simply need to be provided with the opportunity to do so. The
way to make tea the choice for customers is through education. Educating
them with the menu is a good place to begin. Tea can be described
in many ways, but customers may be too intimidated to ask questions.
Creating an informative, yet concise menu, will give customers a user-friendly
way to feel comfortable when ordering tea.         However if they do ask questions, provide several options, ascertaining first their likes and dislikes, even what mood they are in, and where they tend to drink tea. The answers to their questions can help them enjoy their cup of tea whether you brew it in the store or they do so themselves at home.         Today, the less delicate, occasionally consumed beverage of the past – tea – has become a much-sought-after staple. To make the most of your specialty tea business, assume a niche-mentality focus. Relinquish the thought of being all things to all people, and focus instead on being something that matters to a smaller, but more devoted consumer segment. |
